Seattle – JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, is proud to announce that Hon. Sharon Armstrong (Ret.) was honored by the King County Bar Association with the “William L. Dwyer Outstanding Jurist” award at its Annual Awards Celebration on June 25.
The “Outstanding Jurist” award recognizes a lifetime of achievement as a judge in a court in King County. It is given only in special circumstances and is not necessarily an annual award.

Judge Armstrong joined JAMS in May after nearly 30 years as a judge on the King County Superior Court, where she tried a wide range of cases and was well-known for handling complex disputes. Her experience includes business cases, class actions, employment, environmental, insurance, securities and financial markets cases.
