Awards Panelist News
Boston – JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, is proud to announce Hon. Nancy Holtz (Ret.) will be recognized by the Massachusetts Bar Association. The MBA will honor Judge Holtz with the Daniel F. Toomey Excellence in the Judiciary Award at the May 14 Excellence in the Law event.

"We are so proud of Judge Holtz for receiving the Excellence in Judiciary award,” said Chris Poole, JAMS president and CEO. "Her impressive judicial career along with her reputation for her intellect, creativity and ability to handle even the most complex cases makes her a natural choice for this recognition.”

Judge Holtz joined JAMS in 2014 after 30 years as a judge, attorney and ADR practitioner. During her 15 years on the bench, she presided over hundreds of civil and criminal matters, including significant multimillion dollar business and construction litigation, as well as employment, wrongful death and other personal injury matters. Prior to that, she served as Secretary and General Counsel of the Executive Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation and gained broad experience in the banking, insurance, and telecommunications sectors, and excelled at fostering communities of interest between business, regulatory and public stakeholders.
