CHICAGO – JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, today announced the addition of Hon. James R. Epstein (Ret.) to its panel. Judge Epstein will be based in the JAMS Chicago Resolution Center and serve as an arbitrator, mediator and special master in a variety of disputes including Administrative Law, Appellate, Business/Commercial, Class Action/Mass Tort, Construction Defect, Education Schools, Employment, Environmental, Estate/Probate/Trust, Governmental/Public Agency, Insurance, Intellectual Property, Personal Injury/Torts, Professional Liability and Real Property.
Judge Epstein joined JAMS after serving for 15 years as an Illinois circuit and appellate judge. As a circuit judge presiding over a chancery call and as an appellate judge, Judge Epstein has conducted countless settlement conferences on a broad range of complex business and commercial matters. Before his time on the bench, Judge Epstein earned recognition as a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
