Tim Hardy, FCIArb, Joins JAMS in New York

Experienced arbitrator and mediator will handle cases nationwide

New York – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce the addition of Tim Hardy, FCIArb, to its panel. Mr. Hardy is a former City of London solicitor who led the litigation department at a top 10 global firm for over 20 years. Over that period, he established himself as a thought leader and prominent ADR practitioner spanning both international arbitration and mediation.

Based in the New York Resolution Center, Mr. Hardy will serve as an arbitrator and mediator in a variety of disputes, including banking, business/commercial, financial markets, insurance, international, professional liability and real estate.

Recognized for his exceptional ADR experience, along with his insight, fairness and patience, Mr. Hardy is ideally suited to step into this new role as a neutral at JAMS. We’re happy to welcome him to the panel in New York.

- Chris Poole, JAMS President and CEO

Mr. Hardy’s contributions to the field of ADR include serving as a member of the Board of Management of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) for three years and chairing its Practice and Standards Committee for four years. He also oversaw the redrafting of the CIArb’s International Arbitration Practice Guidelines & Protocols 2015/2019 and associated arbitration and mediation rules.

My approach to helping parties reach resolution is based on a foundation of deep knowledge of the law, a high level of understanding emotions and an ability to put people at ease. I am eager to bring my passion and knowledge of ADR to JAMS as I begin this new chapter.

- Tim Hardy, JAMS Arbitrator & Mediator

Mr. Hardy received his LL.M. (with Distinction) in advanced litigation and earned his postgraduate diploma in international arbitration from University of Oxford.
