Washington, D.C. – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative and dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce the addition of Deirdre McCarthy Gallagher, Esq., to its panel. Ms. McCarthy Gallagher brings over 20 years of experience as a mediator, facilitator and ADR consultant. She is experienced at facilitating dialogue in the governmental/public policy realm, from mediating employment discrimination claims for the U.S. Office of Special Counsel and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation to facilitating decision-making processes for the Department of the Interior to conducting multi-party settlement processes for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Throughout her career, Ms. McCarthy Gallagher has also served as an ADR advisor to a range of organizations, including companies, large and small nonprofits, universities and governmental agencies.
Based in the Washington, D.C., Resolution Center, McCarthy Gallagher will serve as a mediator handling employment, organizational and public policy disputes.
Ms. McCarthy Gallagher is known for her persistence and patience when bringing parties together to resolve disputes. She brings an extensive amount of ADR experience to JAMS, and we’re looking forward to having her join the panel in Washington, D.C.

Ms. McCarthy Gallagher serves as an adjunct professor of law for negotiation and mediation at Georgetown University Law Center. She received her A.B., cum laude, from Harvard University; her M.S. in conflict resolution from George Mason University; and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
