Hon. Harry W. Low (Ret.)

The family of the late JAMS neutral and California Court of Appeal Justice Harry W. Low will host a public tribute on April 27 in memory of Justice Low’s life and honoring his many career accomplishments and contributions to the community. JAMS neutral Hon. Zerne P. Haning III (Ret.) will speak at the service.
Justice Low was the first Asian American named to the San Francisco Municipal Court in 1967, and he later served as a superior court judge, presiding justice of the California Court of Appeal and insurance commissioner of California. He joined JAMS in 1992 and was a popular and active neutral for more than two decades. Justice Low passed away December 9, 2021.
Members of the public are invited to attend the tribute at San Francisco City Hall or via livestream. Please be advised that in-person attendance will be limited.
