Dallas – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to recognize Gary Fowler, Esq., for his fourth term of service with the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program as a member of the Equal Access Committee.
The Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP) is an organization dedicated to increasing and enhancing pro bono legal services to low-income individuals in Dallas through the recruitment, training and support of volunteer attorneys. DVAP is a joint program of the Dallas Bar Association and Legal Aid of Northwest Texas created in 1997 to form a cohesive effort to address the legal needs of low-income people in Dallas.
Each year, DVAP holds its Equal Access to Justice Campaign, which is a fundraising drive that connects lawyers, law firms, corporations and the community to seek critical funds to support DVAP’s efforts to provide civil legal aid to low-income people in their community.
“Gary is a champion for legal justice in the Dallas community and believes in a system that is fair, equitable and accessible for all. His compassion, thoughtfulness and diligence shine through in his volunteer work and each case he handles. We are pleased to recognize his ongoing commitment to DVAP.”
