Chicago – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce that Jon B. Masini, Esq., has joined its panel. Mr. Masini joins JAMS with over 30 years of experience as a neutral and advocate.
Since beginning his ADR practice in 2007, Mr. Masini has successfully resolved hundreds of construction disputes. He is adept at resolving the business, environmental and high-profile personal injury claims incidental to these disputes. Before entering the legal profession, Mr. Masini worked as an architect and technical specification writer—experience that continues to enhance his deep understanding of construction law and technical disputes.
Based in the Chicago Resolution Center, Mr. Masini will serve as an arbitrator and mediator, handling business and commercial, construction, construction defect, engineering, environmental law and personal injury matters. He is available to conduct sessions in person, as well as virtually, for clients across the country and internationally.
“Mr. Masini’s combination of architectural and legal experience gives him a valuable perspective as a neutral. His practical understanding of construction law and its technical components, along with his thoughtful approach, makes him a strong addition to our panel. We are pleased to welcome him to JAMS.”
Kimberly Taylor, JAMS CEO and president
Mr. Masini is widely recognized for his meticulous preparation and attention to detail. His mediation process most often includes confidential pre-session discussions with each party to identify and narrow key issues, enabling a more efficient and focused negotiation session. As a testament to his work and accomplishments, he has previously been recognized by the New York Times, The American Lawyer and Illinois Super Lawyers.
“Over the last three decades, I have learned the importance of approaching each mediation with a sound strategy,” said Mr. Masini. “Joining JAMS gives me the opportunity to keep building my skills alongside other accomplished neutrals.”
Mr. Masini earned his B.A from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
