Award recognizes integrity, civility and advancing effective dispute resolution practices
Irvine, Calif. – JAMS, the premier provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce that Stacy La Scala, Esq., has received the Jerrold S. Oliver Award of Excellence at this year’s West Coast Casualty Construction Defect Seminar. The award was presented on May 14 at the Disneyland Resort Hotel in Anaheim.
The Jerrold S. Oliver Award of Excellence, affectionately known as the “Ollie Award,” is a distinguished honor recognizing individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the construction defect and ADR communities. The award is widely respected among mediators, arbitrators, insurers and construction litigators for honoring leadership, professionalism and commitment to effective dispute resolution.
Named in honor of the late Hon. Jerrold S. Oliver, a former JAMS neutral and pioneer in the use of ADR for resolving construction claims, the award celebrates individuals who reflect Judge Oliver’s legacy of preparation, civility and service to the construction defect community.
“This award recognizes individuals who exemplify civility, leadership and commitment to effective dispute resolution, and Mr. La Scala embodies those qualities in every aspect of his work. We are proud to see his long-standing contributions to the ADR and construction communities recognized with this distinguished honor.”
