What Keeps In-House Counsel Up at Night and How ADR Can Help You Sleep!

Presented by ACC Northeast and JAMS

ACC-Northeast and JAMS are presenting this webinar to hear from practitioners on the key issues and disputes that in-house counsel face on a daily basis and how various ADR strategies can help overcome barriers at any stage of conflict and help minimize and/or eliminate them, without involving lengthy litigation or disruptions.

Beyond the more well known offerings (i.e. traditional mediation and arbitration), the speakers will explore other ADR tools. Depending on the dispute, in some situations other approaches are more appropriate, effective and/or economical. Plus these options, customized for specific industries, can prevent conflicts before they arise or provide more flexible, scalable and creative resolution paths when conflicts do emerge. The panel will also explore how to effectively draft ADR contract provisions and how the right language, whether non-binding or binding, can also be a useful deterrent to the escalation of disputes in some situations.
