This hybrid session will explore the origins of insurance from an international lens, including discussion around the establishment of insurance as a financial instrument. The program will share the relevance of Black history in the origins of the insurance industry and the intersectional effects on the ADR profession. Presenters from various industry areas will share their knowledge and experience about the state of the industry in different markets and efforts towards equitable inclusion. We will round out the conversation by discussing the vital role of alternative dispute resolution in these spaces. Cocktails and light fare will be served following the event.
