Hon. Patrick J. Mahoney (Ret.) Joins JAMS in San Francisco

San Francisco – JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, today announced the addition of Hon. Patrick J. Mahoney (Ret.) to its panel. Judge Mahoney will be based in the JAMS San Francisco Resolution Center. He will serve as an arbitrator, mediator and special master in a variety of disputes including Business/Commercial, Civil Rights, Class Action/Mass Tort, Employment, Family Law, Government/Public Agency, Real Property and Securities.

Judge Mahoney brings more than 40 years of experience as a judge and civil litigator to his ADR practice. Most recently he served as the supervising judge of the Family Court where he managed negotiations related to custody, visitation, property and financial issues. He also mediated disputes between and among public agencies related to providing services to youth. He conducted numerous settlement conferences involving asbestos claims, torts, employment discrimination, wage and hour and workplace conditions claims.

Judge Mahoney graduated with his B.A. from Stanford University and earned his J.D. from Hastings College of the Law, Order of the Coif.
