San Jose – JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, is proud to announce that Hon. James Ware (Ret.) received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers Association at its 37th Annual Judges’ Night event on May 15.
“We are thrilled that Judge Ware was celebrated by the SCCTLA with this lifetime achievement award,” said Chris Poole, JAMS president and CEO. “He joins the ranks of some of the most respected and outstanding judges in Santa Clara, an honor he has earned and deserves. Judge Ware joined JAMS after 16 years as a civil litigator, and 24 years as a judge. He served as a United States District Judge on the Northern District of California, including a year and a half as the Chief Judge of the Northern District. Previously, he served as a judge on the Superior Court of California in Santa Clara County. Judge Ware serves as an arbitrator, mediator and special master in a variety of disputes including Business/Commercial, Civil Rights, Class Action/Mass Tort, Construction, Employment, Environmental, Insurance, Intellectual Property, Professional Liability, Real Property and Securities.
