Mr. Unwin will be based in the JAMS Toronto Resolution Centre and serve as an arbitrator and mediator in a variety of disputes including Accounting/Finance, Business/Commercial, Employment, Estates/Probates/Trusts, Financial Markets, International and Securities.
Prior to joining JAMS, Mr. Unwin was a partner with Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, where he also opened the offices in New York and London. He has more than 30 years of experience in Securities, Business/Commercial and Mergers and Acquisitions matters. An expert in corporate governance, Mr. Unwin has spent a lifetime advising and steering Canadian and international businesses in diverse sectors, including banking/finance, oil and gas, public utilities, real estate trusts, mining ventures and public charities.
