International Neutral Hiro N. Aragaki, FCIArb, Esq., Joins JAMS

New panelist will serve as an arbitrator, mediator and special master in Los Angeles Resolution Center

New Panelist Announcement

Los Angeles – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to welcome Hiro N. Aragaki, FCIArb, Esq., to its panel. Mr. Aragaki is a distinguished neutral with more than 20 years of experience, including almost a decade of full-time law practice at global law firms and service as a neutral since 2001. He is an internationally recognized expert in arbitration and mediation who has trained judges and lawyers and is frequently called upon to consult on ADR reform projects around the world.

Mr. Aragaki is a creative and analytical thinker who is known for his insightful nature and exceptional case management skills. His background and experience make him an excellent addition to our JAMS panel.

Based in the JAMS Resolution Center in downtown Los Angeles, Mr. Aragaki will serve as an arbitrator, mediator and special master in a variety of practice areas, including business/commercial, employment, financial markets, intellectual property and international.

Whether I’m serving as an arbitrator or mediator, the result that I’m striving for is to get the parties to resolution as soon as possible. I believe in being effective, efficient and, most of all, prepared. I’m looking forward to embarking on this new journey in my career.

Mr. Aragaki is a citizen of the U.S. and Japan, and an overseas citizen of India. He has lived in the U.K., Germany and France.

Mr. Aragaki received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Yale University; obtained his M.Phil. from Cambridge University; and earned  his J.D., with distinction, from Stanford University.

JAMS currently operates two JAMS International Arbitration Centers, which are located in New York and Los Angeles, and is expanding its Century City, Calif., office to incorporate international arbitration space, which is scheduled to be ready in the fall.
