Chicago – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce the addition of Attorney Gregg M. Herman to its panel. Attorney Herman brings 38 years of family law experience to the panel in Wisconsin. He is a lifelong resident of Milwaukee, where he practiced as an assistant district attorney for Milwaukee County for seven years prior to taking up a full-time family law practice in 1984.
Based in the Chicago Resolution Center, Attorney Herman will serve as an arbitrator and mediator, handling family law disputes. He is available to conduct sessions in person, as well as virtually for attorneys and their clients across the country.
Attorney Herman is known and highly regarded for his wealth of experience and knowledge in the family law industry. This, along with his attention to detail and his effective communication skills, will serve him well in this new role as a JAMS panelist.

Attorney Herman is a board-certified senior specialist in family law trial advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is the editor of the Wisconsin State Bar’s forms and procedures book on family law and a columnist on family law issues for the Wisconsin Law Journal. He dedicates significant time to writing and speaking on settlement negotiations and is an adjunct professor teaching settlement negotiations at Marquette University Law School.
In family law, paying careful attention to the clients’ needs and minimizing conflict are essential to maintaining relationships. I’m looking forward to applying my skills and knowledge in this next chapter of my career as a JAMS neutral.
