Irvine, Calif. – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is honored to announce that Hon. Brian C. Walsh (Ret.) has been selected by the Santa Clara County Bar Association (SCCBA) as the recipient of the 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award. He will be honored with the award on October 26 at the SCCBA’s annual Judges’ Night.
The event will recognize Judge Walsh’s decades of commitment and dedication to public service and to the Santa Clara County legal community. Judge Walsh is highly esteemed in the community for his integrity, professionalism and knowledge of the law. He has been a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association since 1975, serving on its board of trustees from 1988 to 1989, as secretary in 1990, president elect in 1991 and president in 1992. During his time as president, he was the architect of the association’s Code of Professionalism, which was used as a model for the California Attorney Guidelines of Civility and Professionalism later adopted by the California State Bar.
We are so pleased to see Judge Walsh recognized for his contributions to the Santa Clara County legal community. He brings tremendous experience and industry know-how in each case that he handles, and his professionalism and optimism for helping parties put their differences aside to find a solution are unmatched. We are fortunate to have him on our panel and congratulate him on this award.
