In its second year, the Business of Pride Awards celebrate both LGBTQIA+ leaders and allies who are successful in their careers, are active in their communities and are advocates for inclusion and equality. Honorees span different sectors of the St. Louis business community.

Judge Mooney joined JAMS in 2019 in the St. Louis Resolution Center. He serves as an arbitrator, mediator, special master/referee and neutral evaluator, focusing his practice in the areas of appellate, business/commercial, class action/mass tort, environmental, trusts and estates, probate, government, insurance and personal injury.
For over two decades, Judge Mooney served as a judge on the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District, including a term as a chief judge. From 2015 until he left the bench, he worked as the court’s settlement judge. He consistently earned high praise for his timely, high-quality work product and fair treatment of parties. Additionally, Judge Mooney has been a passionate community leader, working for decades to support economic development and the arts in the St. Louis metropolitan region.
