JAMS Recognized as Mediation Firm of the Year in 2023 Who’s Who Legal: Mediation

Award recognizes the firm’s commitment to industry-leading service across the U.S. and U.K.

General Announcements

Irvine, Calif. – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is proud to announce that it has been recognized as Mediation Firm of the Year in the 2023 edition of Who’s Who Legal (WWL). Each year, WWL presents awards to leading firms in over 70 jurisdictions that have performed exceptionally well. This year's awards ceremony will be held on November 9, 2023, at The HAC in London, and all proceeds from the ceremony will go toward WWL’s nominated charity, the Swawou School for Girls.

We are proud that JAMS is recognized for the hard work our neutrals put in year after year, distinguishing themselves and the firm as leaders in mediation. In 2022 alone, the firm handled over 18,000 cases, further demonstrating the magnitude of our work and the impact it has on the legal community.

- Chris Poole, JAMS CEO

WWL’s firm awards are determined by the number of its members that are featured in the publication, as well as by the number of nominations its lawyers or experts have received during the course of the research. In judging the awards, WWL studies the nominations made by clients and fellow professionals, with its bespoke database weighing each recommendation according to the standing of the nominator. So, a vote from the general counsel of a major corporation or one of the practice area’s leading lights carries greater weight than that of a less-frequently-nominated lawyer.

WWL also awards outstanding firms in major jurisdictions around the globe. These are also determined by the number of nominees a firm has in the publication and by their standing within the research. More information on the WWL awards can be found here.
