Atlanta – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce that Rebekah Ratliff, CCLS, is the recipient of Business Insurance’s 2023 Alonzo Herndon Award.
Launched in 2021, the award, presented by Business Insurance’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) Institute, recognizes an individual dedicated to supporting diversity and inclusion efforts in the insurance industry. The award is named in honor of Alonzo Herndon, a visionary businessman who, more than 100 years ago, founded what would become the Atlanta Life Insurance Co., one of the United States’ largest and most successful Black-owned businesses.
Each year, the recipient is selected by the board members of the DE&I Institute based on nominations received from individuals and organizations across the insurance sector.
“Rebekah Ratliff is a fierce advocate and leader working to shape the future of ADR to be more inclusive and equitable for all. Her decades of experience within the insurance industry and long-standing commitment to serving as a trusted dispute resolution professional for parties are what make her such an excellent panelist. We congratulate her on this outstanding award.”
