Boston – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce that Hon. John C. Cratsley (Ret.) has been honored with the first Hon. Edward M. Ginsburg Award for Distinguished Public Service During Retirement from the Flaschner Judicial Institute. The award was presented on September 23 at Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts.

In its inaugural year, the award is named after Judge Edward M. Ginsburg, who served as a probate and family court judge in Massachusetts and founded a related pro bono initiative, Senior Lawyers for Justice, in his retirement. Award honorees are nominated by judges for having served honorably on the bench and continued to make significant contributions to the legal profession and their community as volunteers following their retirement.

We are so pleased to see Judge Cratsley’s work recognized by the Flaschner Judicial Institute. Throughout his career, Judge Cratsley has committed his time to supporting social justice and promoting high standards within the judicial profession, and his contributions have made a meaningful impact on the Massachusetts legal community and beyond.
