JAMS Supports 3rd Annual California International Arbitration Week

JAMS is a Double Platinum sponsor of weeklong programming to celebrate international arbitration in California

Events

Irvine, Calif. – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is proud to announce its support of the 3rd Annual California International Arbitration Week (CIAW), which will take place from March 11 to 14 at the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco. The event is presented by the California Lawyers Association’s Litigation Section and California Arbitration (CalArb) and includes leading arbitral institutions and organizations.

The weeklong programming will celebrate international arbitration in California, featuring thought-provoking panel discussions and valuable networking opportunities with users, institutions and practitioners from California and around the world. California is rising in popularity as both a seat and venue for international arbitration due, in part, to the Model Law regulatory framework in place to govern arbitrations, geographic location, as well as the state’s track record of strong enforcement for arbitration agreements and awards.

California International Arbitration Week is a fantastic opportunity to bring together legal professionals to share knowledge, network and discuss the future of international arbitration in the state, as well as the trends and developments fueling its evolution. JAMS is proud to support this event and is pleased that many of our neutrals will participate this year in sharing their insights with the ADR community in California.

- Chris Poole, JAMS CEO

This year, JAMS will be organizing two panels and hosting an evening reception at the de Young museum on March 12. Eight JAMS neutrals will be featured across six panel sessions. Panelists from JAMS will discuss topics such as current trends in diversity, navigating arbitrator disclosures and challenges in international arbitration, facilitating international arbitration, international arbitration in entertainment and sports, examining arbitration against the backdrop of geopolitical relations between the United States and China, and insights on emerging technologies and their impacts on arbitration.

The full list of featured JAMS panels and events can be found here. More information about registering for CIAW can be found here.
