Irvine, Calif. – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce the addition of Marc Alan Fong, Esq., to its panel. Mr. Fong joins JAMS with over 45 years of experience in the legal industry and a track record of successfully resolving complex and high-value cases.
For over 40 years, Mr. Fong served as a founding member of Fong & Fong. The firm focused on real property construction defect litigation, business litigation, injury litigation and commercial transactions. In 2005, Mr. Fong established Fong Dispute Resolution, focusing his practice on ADR.
Based in the Sacramento Resolution Center, Mr. Fong will serve as an arbitrator, mediator, special master/referee and neutral evaluator, handling personal injury, real property/real estate, business/commercial, environmental, estate/probate/trust, family law, appellate, construction/construction defect, intellectual property and professional liability cases. He is available to conduct sessions in person, as well as virtually, for clients across the country.
Mr. Fong has built his career around understanding how to apply ADR tools and approaches to cases that run the gamut in terms of complexity and subject matter. He is lauded for his ability to get to the root of the case and determine the best solution forward for resolving disputes.
- Chris Poole, JAMS CEO
Over the course of his career, Mr. Fong has served as a mediator and arbitrator in hundreds of cases and has vast experience resolving complex, high-value matters involving real property, employment, technology, business, malpractice and catastrophic injuries. Among many professional affiliations, Mr. Fong previously served as the chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section and the chair of the Executive Committee of the Real Property Section of the Alameda County Bar Association.
As a dispute resolution professional, much of the success of our work depends on the ability to understand parties’ perspectives and desires—and how the nuances that exist ultimately shape the approach for resolving a dispute successfully. This is a skill I have strengthened over my many years of practice, and I look forward to continuing my work at JAMS.
- Marc Alan Fong, Esq.
Mr. Fong earned his B.A. from California State University, East Bay, and his J.D. from Lincoln University Law School.
