New Panelist Announcement

Chicago – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce that Michael A. Zuckerman, Esq., has joined its panel. Mr. Zuckerman joins JAMS as a seasoned dispute resolution professional who has handled more than 600 mediations and 100 arbitrations.

As an ADR professional, Mr. Zuckerman’s practice has included many areas of law, including banking, business/commercial, consumer, class action/mass tort, cyber law, employment and real estate. He is available to conduct sessions in person, as well as virtually, for clients across the country and internationally.

Mr. Zuckerman is an esteemed professional whose experience has spanned many industries and yielded the insights that have allowed him to be successful in ADR, as an educator and as a speaker. He is known for his skill and sensitivity when handling cases, and we look forward to having him join our panel.

- Chris Poole, JAMS CEO

Earlier in his career, Mr. Zuckerman served in private practice as a trial and appellate litigator at Jones Day. He represented clients in a variety of complex cases in federal and state courts. While in private practice, he became known for his skill in briefing complicated issues, developing legal strategy and negotiating settlements, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He previously clerked for federal judges on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

Mediation and arbitration offer the distinct ability to connect with parties in a meaningful way, helping to understand the root causes of their disputes and the best pathway forward. I love what I do—assisting people and businesses in resolving conflict. As an ADR professional and former litigator, I bring passion, skill and a personal touch to my matters. I’m thrilled to join JAMS.

- Michael A. Zuckerman, Esq.,

Mr. Zuckerman earned his B.S. from Cornell University and a J.D., cum laude, from Cornell Law School.
