Award recognizes leadership, professionalism and service to the legal profession

Los Angeles – JAMS, the premier provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce that Hon. David S. Cohn (Ret.) has received the 2026 Kaufman-Campbell Award from the San Bernardino County Bar Association (SBCBA). The award was presented on June 4 at The Mitten Building in Redlands, Calif.

Established in 2000, the Kaufman-Campbell Award is among the Inland Empire legal community’s most respected honors. Jointly presented by the SBCBA, the Honorable Joseph B. Campbell American Inn of Court and the High Desert Bar Association, the award is named for distinguished jurists Marcus Kaufman and Joseph B. Campbell. It recognizes judges and commissioners who demonstrate the highest standards of judicial excellence, integrity, wisdom, impartiality and service in the pursuit of justice.

“Judge Cohn's impact extends far beyond the courtroom through his commitment to mentorship, leadership and improving the administration of justice. This recognition reflects the tremendous respect he has earned throughout the Inland Empire legal community, and we congratulate him on this well-deserved honor.”
