William M. “Bill” Parrish, Esq., Joins JAMS in Austin
Seasoned former litigator and ADR professional joins JAMS as a mediator and arbitrator
Austin, Texas – JAMS, the premier provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services, is pleased to announce that William M. “Bill” Parrish, Esq., has joined its panel. Mr. Parrish brings more than 45 years of experience across a wide range of intellectual property disputes, including those involving trade secrets, trademarks, trade names, trade dress, copyrights and patents, and other types of complex commercial disputes.
Mr. Parrish has handled trials and appeals in state and federal courts and has served as an advocate in multiple arbitrations advising clients through every stage of high-stakes litigation. Most recently, he served as managing attorney of California-based Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth LLP’s Austin office from 2021 to 2025. Prior to that role, he was a partner in a litigation boutique. For many years prior to that, he was repeatedly elected to the management committee of a national law firm.
Based in Austin, Mr. Parrish will serve as a mediator and arbitrator, handling intellectual property and commercial matters. He is available to conduct sessions in person, as well as virtually, for clients across the country and internationally.

Mr. Parrish is highly regarded by his peers. Mr. Parrish earned his J.D. from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law and his B.A., Plan II with honors, Phi Beta Kappa, from The University of Texas at Austin.
