2021 HNBA/VIA Annual Convention

HNBA is pleased to announce that the 2021 HNBA/VIA Annual Convention will be a hybrid event. CLE programs, plenary sessions and receptions will take place virtually on September 28-29. The convention will culminate with an in-person Gala at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center on September 30, 2021.

HNBA/VIA will offer high-quality programming that provides robust learning experiences for legal professionals at all levels. This will include cutting-edge Continuing Legal Education sessions, plenaries, and specialty programs, along with an exhibitor showcase and multiple unique networking.

HNBA/VIA is thrilled and excited to have an in-person gala! Personal connections and support are integral to who we are and what we do. The gala will include a short program featuring fantastic speakers, entertainment, Lifetime Achievement and Presidents Awards, and lots of catching up and dancing. The panel will present the issue of the new trend of mass arbitrations in the context of class action waivers and arbitration agreements in consumer contracts. The panelists will include the defendants' counsel perspective, plaintiffs’ counsel perspective, the arbitrators' experience in mass arbitrations, and the in-house counsel perspective.
