London – JAMS International continues its growth with the addition of Matthew Rushton as deputy managing director. Mr. Rushton, who currently owns The Mediator Magazine, will start May 23. He will assist the managing director with identifying and selecting panelists, growing the client list, developing marketing opportunities and more.

Mr. Rushton is the founder of Empirical Publishing, an online legal publisher with specific expertise in the field of alternative dispute resolution. Publications include The Mediator Magazine, Mediator Directory and DisputesLoop.com. A former legal journalist, he has observed and commentated on developments in ADR since 1998 when he served as litigation editor at Legal Business Magazine. He has also been a freelance journalist and wrote Writ Large, a biography of U.S. lawyer, the late David Shapiro.
