Chicago – JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, today announced the addition of Hon. Allen S. Goldberg (Ret.) to its panel. Judge Goldberg will be based in the JAMS Chicago Resolution Center. He will serve as an arbitrator, mediator and special master in a variety of disputes including Business/Commercial, Employment, Family Law, Insurance, Intellectual Property, Personal Injury/Torts and Real Property.
Throughout his 20 years of service on the Cook County bench, Judge Goldberg has presided over a wide array of matters in the Commercial Litigation and Jury Section of the Law Division and in the Domestic Relations Division. He was an ADR pioneer in the Cook County court system, where he wrote the rules for the Court-Annexed Civil Mediation program. Since 2005, Judge Goldberg has directed, and will continue to co-direct, the monthly mediation and arbitration programs, for which CLE is provided. Additionally, within the Cook County court system, he organized and been a faculty assistant for the 40-hour training programs which allow sitting judges to become certified mediators.

Judge Goldberg received his B.S. from the University of Illinois and his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
