New York – JAMS is proud to announce that Michael D. Young, Esq., was elected Chair of Legal Services NYC’s Board of Directors at the Board’s annual meeting. He will continue his role as a fulltime mediator and arbitrator at JAMS.
Mr. Young served on the Board of South Brooklyn Legal Services from 2004 to 2010 and as LSNYC’s Interim Executive Director from June 2010 until June 2011. He has served as Vice-Chair of the LSNYC Board for the past three years.
Mr. Young joined JAMS in 1989 and has conducted thousands of complex or multi-party mediations and arbitrations in over 30 states and abroad. He has been appointed as a mediator or special master by various federal, state and bankruptcy courts.
