NEW YORK – JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, today announced the addition of Andrew Aglionby. Mr. Aglionby will be based in JAMS New York and London Resolution Centers and serve as a neutral in a variety of disputes including Business/Commercial, Construction, Energy and Real Estate.
Most recently, Mr. Aglionby served as former head of arbitration at Olswang. With more than 30 years of experience, he is known as an international arbitration specialist with particular expertise in construction law, as well as a broad range of commercial disputes, including technology and telecom issues. He was a partner, former regional head of international arbitration and head of construction for Baker & McKenzie in Hong Kong.
Mr. Aglionby has worked on matters involving projects and parties from, among other places, Abu Dhabi, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Egypt, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Kosovo, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Norway, People’s Republic of China, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sudan, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Palau, Panama, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Mr. Aglionby graduated LL.B from University of East Anglia in England and studied at the Inns of Court School of Law before his call to the Bar, and later qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales, and in Hong Kong.
