Mr. Bruno joins JAMS following a 37-year career primarily focused on the construction industry. He offers a valuable perspective with his experience being on all sides of a dispute as an arbitrator, pro-tem judge, trial lawyer and client. Based in JAMS Resolution Centers in the Bay Area, Dallas and available worldwide, he will serve as an arbitrator and mediator in a variety of disputes including, business/commercial, construction, engineering and construction, and insurance.
Prior to joining JAMS, Mr. Bruno spent 18 years in leadership roles within the legal organization of Fluor Corporation, where he most recently served as Managing General Counsel for the dispute resolution function. Before that, he honed his skills in the construction industry and developed his knowledge of business disputes as both a client and advocate, when he served as corporate counsel with the national firm Thelen Reid & Priest in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Mr. Bruno has a reputation for his excellent judgment, focused listening skills and his integrity. These characteristics, coupled with his extensive background, will bring a valuable perspective to the JAMS panel.

Mr. Bruno received his B.A. with a double major from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with honors, and was the Distinguished Military Graduate. He earned his J.D. from the University of Santa Clara Law School.
