San Francisco – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is proud to announce that Cathy Yanni has been selected to be the administrator of the Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s (PG&E) Wildfire Assistance Program fund. Ms. Yanni was selected by PG&E and the official committees that are party to the Chapter 11 proceeding and was approved by the court. The $105 million fund will be distributed to the victims of the 2017 and 2018 Northern California wildfires.
As administrator, Yanni will be responsible for developing the specific eligibility requirements and application procedures for the Wildfire Assistance Fund. She will be responsible for ensuring that it is distributed in a fair and equitable manner, and that the victims who are most in need receive priority.
Cathy has been on the JAMS panel for 21 years and has established herself in the legal community not only as a patient and respectful neutral, but as someone that who can apply creative thinking and analyze complex issues with ease.
