Hon. Glen Reiser (Ret.) Joins JAMS in Century City

Former Ventura County Superior Court judge joins JAMS as an arbitrator, mediator, and special master

New Panelist Announcement

Los Angeles – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution services worldwide, is pleased to announce the addition of Hon. Glen Reiser (Ret.) to its panel. Judge Reiser will be based in the Century City Resolution Center and will serve as an arbitrator, mediator and special master in a wide variety of disputes, including business/commercial, construction defect, environmental, estate/probate/trusts, family law, personal injury/torts and real property.

Joining JAMS after spending more than 20 years on the Ventura County Superior Court, Judge Reiser served as both supervising probate judge and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) judge for more than a decade. Prior to his appointment to the bench, he litigated hundreds of civil cases to successful conclusion in trial and appellate courts throughout California.

Judge Reiser is known for his thorough approach, as well as his ability to develop creative solutions to disputes of all types. We are confident that his experience and expertise with make him an excellent addition to the JAMS panel.

Judge Reiser regularly teaches California judges trust and probate orientation, conservatorships and advanced courses through the Judicial Council of California’s Center for Judicial Education and Research (CJER). He was also named Judge of the Year by the Ventura County Trial Lawyers Association in 2016.

I’ve cultivated a breadth of knowledge over the years that I believe will help successfully guide parties in the resolution process. I’m looking forward to exploring this next chapter of my career as a neutral at JAMS.

Judge Reiser received his B.A., with High Honors, from the University of California, Santa Barbara and earned his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
