JAMS Temporarily Moves to Virtual Only Sessions in Some California Cities

Dear Valued Clients and Colleagues,

JAMS continues to provide valuable ADR services during the pandemic and is staying on top of the latest news and developments in each of the markets that we serve.

This afternoon, California Governor Gavin Newsom issued a new order requiring all counties that have remained on the County Monitoring “Watch List” for three consecutive days to shut down certain industries or activities unless they can be modified.

As a result, JAMS Resolution Centers in the following markets will only offer virtual ADR sessions effective today:  Walnut Creek, Santa Rosa, Los Angeles, Century City, Irvine and San Diego.  If you have an in-person matter scheduled in one of these locations, your local case manager will work with you to identify options such as moving to virtual sessions, another JAMS location or rescheduling for a later date. We will closely monitor updates and re-open in-person sessions in those locations when they are cleared by local and state officials.

Please contact your local JAMS Resolution Center for the most up-to-date information and status on reopening.

For additional information and assistance with scheduling an in-person or virtual sessions, please contact your local Resolution Center. For more information about our virtual options, including how to prepare for an online mediation or arbitration, please visit our Virtual Mediation and Arbitration page.

Thank you for your continued trust in JAMS.

Sincerely,

JAMS Management Team
