Gallagher (Ret.) has been selected by the Santa Clara County Bar Association (SCCBA) as a recipient of the 2021 Lifetime Achievement Award. She will be honored with the award on November 4 at the SCCBA’s annual Judges’ Night.
The event will recognize Judge Gallagher for her tremendous dedication to public service and commitment to the Santa Clara County legal community. Judge Gallagher is revered among her peers for her wealth of experience in dispute resolution across a broad spectrum of cases, including business and commercial, family, probate, financial markets and personal injury.

Before joining JAMS, Judge Gallagher served on the Santa Clara County Superior Court for more than 25 years, including a two-year term as the presiding judge. Prior to her appointment to the bench, she worked in the Division of Enforcement at the Securities and Exchange Commission, was a deputy district attorney and taught at the University of Santa Clara.
Judges’ Night will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Blanco Urban in San Jose to recognize Judge Gallagher and other award recipients. More information can be found here.
