JAMS London Celebrates the Future of Alternative Dispute Resolution With “Cocktails and Conversations” Seminar Series

Hybrid and in-person series to be hosted at new International Dispute Resolution Centre starting in July

General Announcements Events

London – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce the launch of “Cocktails and Conversations,” a series of hybrid and in-person seminars that celebrate the future of ADR as legal and business communities reopen around the world. The series will start with four seminars in July at the new International Dispute Resolution Centre in London.

“We are pleased to have the opportunity to welcome guests to hear from our distinguished neutrals and other panelists as they explore topics that are top of mind for dispute resolution professionals,” said Chris Poole, JAMS CEO. “For guests who are able to join us in person, our space within the new facility supports our commitment to the London market, a hub for global arbitration, and to the International Dispute Resolution Centre.”

“Cocktails and Conversations” will offer the opportunity to hear from JAMS neutrals and leaders within the legal community on their collective experiences over the last 18 months, including lessons learned from resolving disputes during the global pandemic and their views on the future of ADR.

Among the topics discussed will be today’s key challenges across industries, including insurance, energy and life sciences, and how the future of dispute resolution is being molded to reflect the need for greater diversity, inclusion and collaboration.

“Throughout these events, we hope that attendees realize the importance of collaboration and diversity among the voices and perspectives involved in resolving disputes,” added Mr. Poole.

Information regarding the time, location, featured speakers and how to RSVP for virtual and in-person attendance can be found by clicking the links below.

There will be two additional programs scheduled for September: “Cocktails and Conversations on International Construction and Energy Disputes” and “Confronting Chaos, Embracing Conflicts: Engaging in Collaborative Dialogue in Europe and Beyond.” More information about these events will be available in the coming weeks.

The new International Dispute Resolution Centre is located at 100 St. Paul’s Churchyard, London EC4M 8BU, United Kingdom.
