Houston – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce the addition of Randi S. Ellis, Esq., to its panel. Ms. Ellis has brought her ADR practice to JAMS following over 10 years as an independent, full-time ADR practitioner.

Ms. Ellis is nationally known for assisting parties in resolving complex civil disputes. She has worked on some of the most reported settlements in the country in the areas of mass and class actions, toxic torts and products liability.

Based in the Houston Resolution Center, Ms. Ellis will serve as an arbitrator, mediator, special master/referee and settlement master handling business and commercial, environmental and toxic torts, personal injury, pharmaceuticals and mass torts, and professional liability disputes. She is available to conduct sessions in person (adhering to reopening guidelines), as well as virtually for attorneys and their clients across the country.

Ms. Ellis is a highly skilled ADR professional known for her dedication and ability to resolve a variety of matters. With her extensive background and deep knowledge of ADR, we are confident she’ll thrive in this new role as a JAMS panelist.

- Chris Poole, JAMS CEO

Federal and state courts routinely appoint Ms. Ellis as a special master, settlement master, mediator or neutral to facilitate settlement and then oversee the matter through the distribution of proceeds to final dismissal. Parties trust Ms. Ellis with settlements requiring court approval, and she is adept at complex allocation determinations between multiple claimants.

I’ve dedicated my practice to collaborating with the parties to efficiently resolve disputes before, during and after settlement. I’m thrilled to bring my practice to JAMS in Houston, where I’m supported by a nationwide network of offices and ADR professionals.

Ms. Ellis received both her B.A. and J.D. from Louisiana State University. She holds a certificate from the Harvard Law School Program on Negotiation and is licensed to practice in Louisiana and Texas.
