Marbury Rainer, Esq., Joins JAMS in Atlanta

Revered litigator joins JAMS as arbitrator, mediator, special master/referee and neutral evaluator

Irvine, Calif. – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce the addition of Marbury Rainer, Esq., to its panel. Mr. Rainer joins JAMS after over 47 years serving as a counselor and litigator to public and private companies, financial institutions, officers, directors and shareholders. He has served as lead counsel in complex, multi-party cases; assessed claims; and shepherded parties toward resolution.

Mr. Rainer is a founding partner of Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs and the founder and owner of The Rainer Firm. He has served as counsel for corporate boards and special committees in responding to derivative demands and is often called upon as an expert witness on corporate issues and standards of care involving claims against attorneys and law firms.

Based in the Atlanta Resolution Center, Mr. Rainer will serve as an arbitrator, mediator, special master/referee and neutral evaluator, handling antitrust, bankruptcy, business/commercial, health care, insurance coverage and securities cases. He is available to conduct sessions in person, as well as virtually, for clients across the country.

For almost five decades, Mr. Rainer has served as a trusted advisor, educator and leader within the legal industry. His deep bench of insights and demonstrated aptitude in resolving cases extends internationally and across many practice areas.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Rainer has worked on a wide range of corporate governance matters and litigation. He also regularly represented health care clients in antitrust matters and medical staff disputes. His extensive litigation experience includes class actions, derivative suits and federal government investigations. Mr. Rainer has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Alabama School of Law since 2020 and teaches Advanced Corporate Law.
