Houston – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is proud to announce that Hon. Randa Trapp (Ret.) has been appointed as co-chair of the Shades of Mass Judicial Committee. Judge Trapp will begin her new role as co-chair by helping the organization prepare programming for the Third Annual Shades of Mass Conference, which will take place in Houston from September 19 to 21.
This new role is an opportunity to collaborate and discuss crucial matters pertaining to promoting diversity and inclusion within the judiciary, which is a key focus of Shades of Mass. The organization is dedicated to encouraging the appointment of attorneys of color in national mass tort litigations. Its ultimate goal is to provide opportunities to qualified black and brown attorneys and ensure that judges know where to find them and understand the importance of placing them in leadership roles.
We proudly congratulate Judge Trapp on her appointment to the Shades of Mass Judicial Committee. She is devoted to promoting and advancing diversity in the field of law, and this opportunity to work with the committee will only help her further pursue this goal. We are honored to have her serve on our panel at JAMS.
