Freeman (Retired Judge 11th Judicial Circuit) has been honored with the Miami-Dade Bar David W. Dyer Professionalism Award. The award was presented during the Miami-Dade Bar Installation Gala on June 15, 2024, at the Mana Wynwood Convention Center in Miami.
The David W. Dyer Professionalism Award was established in 1997 and is the most prestigious distinction awarded by the Miami-Dade Bar. The award is given to a lawyer or judge whose conduct reflects and honors the integrity, humility, compassion and professionalism displayed by Judge Dyer throughout his entire career.

Ms. Freeman joined JAMS from the Miami-Dade Circuit Court, where she served for nearly 20 years and was highly regarded for her handling of a broad range of legal matters, especially complex business/commercial, construction and family law matters. Known for her warm personality, calm demeanor and thorough preparation, Ms. Freeman was also the first judge to preside over the Complex Business Division, serving there for five years.
The Miami-Dade Bar is the largest lawyer network in Miami-Dade County and one of the largest voluntary bar associations in Florida.
