San Diego – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce Robert G. Marasco, Esq., has joined its panel. Mr. Marasco is an experienced dispute resolution professional and has over 20 years of experience as a litigator, having tried criminal and civil cases in private practice as well as in government service as an assistant United States attorney.
As a litigator in private practice, Mr. Marasco served as a partner at two national law firms—Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch, LLP and Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP—representing both plaintiffs and defendants. While at Procopio, he was the chair of the Healthcare Practice Group, focusing on health care advice and counseling and defending civil and criminal government investigations. He also served as vice president, chief compliance officer for Color Health, Inc., a health care company focused on cancer detection and management programs.
Based in the San Diego Resolution Center, Mr. Marasco will serve as a mediator, arbitrator, special master/referee, hearing officer and neutral evaluator, handling business/commercial, cybersecurity and privacy, employment and health care cases. He is available to conduct sessions in person, as well as virtually, for clients across the country and internationally.
Mr. Marasco is known for his ability to analyze disputes from multiple perspectives and to employ a calm demeanor and tenacious approach when navigating cases. He has deep experience as a litigator working on both sides of the aisle and as a dispute resolution professional, and we believe he will be an excellent addition to our panel.
- Chris Poole, JAMS CEO
As a dispute resolution professional, Mr. Marasco has leveraged his varied litigation experience, broad ability to synthesize legal issues and strength in establishing rapport with parties from all walks of life. He routinely handles matters in California, New Jersey and New York, and regularly travels throughout the country. He is also available for training and speaking engagements, which he has provided on numerous topics, including those related to health care, data privacy and technology.
Though I spent 20 years litigating a diverse array of issues for both plaintiff and defense clients, mediation is my calling. Leaning in to help parties resolve their disputes is what I have long found to be most satisfying.
