Kenneth A. Manning, Esq., Joins JAMS in New York
Accomplished attorney and ADR professional joins JAMS as an arbitrator, mediator, court-appointed neutral (special master/referee) and neutral evaluator
New York – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce that Kenneth A. Manning, Esq., has joined its panel. He joins JAMS following more than four decades working as an advocate and mediator.
Mr. Manning spent the majority of his distinguished career at Phillips Lytle LLP, where he held roles as a partner and of counsel and served as the co-leader of the firm’s Class Action, Higher Education and Government Operations teams. While at the firm from 1979 to 2025, he represented clients across the nation at the trial and appellate levels, including appeals before all four of the New York State Appellate Divisions and the state’s highest court, the New York Court of Appeals.
Based in the New York Resolution Center, Mr. Manning is available to conduct sessions in person, as well as virtually, for clients across the country and internationally. He will serve as an arbitrator, mediator, court-appointed neutral (special master/referee) and neutral evaluator, handling disputes in a variety of practice areas, including business and commercial, civil rights, class action and mass torts, construction, employment, energy and utilities, estate/probate/trust and product liability.

Mr. Manning brought his litigation experience to bear to become a coveted mediator in New York state. Serving on the Western District of New York federal mediation panel, he handled discrimination and hostile work environment claims, workplace fraud, and corporate shareholder and whistleblower disputes. And as an appointed neutral for Erie County Surrogate’s Court ADR program, he mediated complex trusts and estates matters, including family disputes over large estates and litigation involving charitable foundations.

Mr. Manning earned his B.S., summa cum laude, and M.S. from the State University of New York at Buffalo Engineering School. He received his J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School.
