Jordana 'Jordy' H. Feldman, Esq. Joins JAMS in New York

Seasoned ADR professional joins JAMS as special master, neutral evaluator and mediator

New Panelist Announcement

New York – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce that Jordana “Jordy” H. Feldman, Esq., has joined its panel. Ms. Feldman joins JAMS as a nationally recognized authority in the design, implementation and administration of high-profile victim compensation programs and as a seasoned ADR practitioner.

Ms. Feldman recently served as the independent neutral administrator of the Epstein Victims’ Compensation Program. She designed the criteria for determining eligibility and compensation, maintained exclusive and final decision-making authority over the evaluation of claims, held confidential hearings with individual claimants and distributed nearly $125 million to eligible individuals over the course of approximately one year. She previously served as deputy special master of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund. In this role, she served as a leader in developing program policies, presiding over hearings with victims and their families, determining eligibility and compensation for thousands of claims, and interfacing with numerous federal, state and local government agencies; private entities; and other stakeholders.

Based in the New York Resolution Center, Ms. Feldman will serve as a special master, neutral evaluator and mediator, handling class action/mass tort, personal injury, product liability, business/commercial, insurance, estate/probate/trust, health care, government/public agency and bankruptcy cases. She is available to conduct sessions in person, as well as virtually, for clients across the country and internationally.

Ms. Feldman is recognized for her passion and dedication to finding a resolution as well as her ability to work empathetically and pragmatically with parties. She is a leader, educator and sophisticated ADR professional known for her proficiency in navigating high-stakes matters.

- Chris Poole, JAMS CEO

Earlier in her career, Ms. Feldman served as counsel in the Complex Alternative Dispute Resolution group of the Dickstein Shapiro law firm. She advised clients in the design, implementation and administration of complex settlements and mass claims resolution programs arising out of, among others, class actions, federal legislative enactments and Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganizations. Additionally, she is an adjunct professor at the New York University School of Law and a lecturer in law at the University of Pennsylvania Carey School of Law.

Throughout my career, I’ve learned the importance of understanding the human element involved in each case. I prioritize hearing parties’ perspectives, emotions and needs, and balance those factors with the facts and objectives at hand to help parties reach an effective resolution.

- Jordana "Jordy" H. Feldman, Esq.

Ms. Feldman earned her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
