Atlanta – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce that Lawrence “Larry” H. Kunin, Esq., has joined its panel in Atlanta. Mr. Kunin joins JAMS following three decades of experience in programming and resolving business and technology-related disputes.
Mr. Kunin spent over two decades at Atlanta-based Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, where he was chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Group and the Technology Litigation Practice. He has extensive experience resolving complex business and technology-related disputes in areas such as software development and implementation, trade secrets, confidentiality, noncompetes, software licensing, intellectual property, construction, contracts, privacy, data breach, e-discovery, mergers and acquisitions post-closing and company/share valuation. He brings a unique combination of legal acumen and technical knowledge, gained from his early career as a computer programmer and analyst.
Based in the Atlanta Resolution Center, Mr. Kunin will serve as a mediator, arbitrator, neutral evaluator and court-appointed neutral, handling business and commercial, construction, employment, financial markets, intellectual property and technology matters. He is available to conduct sessions in person, as well as virtually, for clients across the country and internationally.

Mr. Kunin has held leadership positions in professional organizations, including serving as president of The Florida Bar’s Out-of-State Division, chair of the Technology and Computer Law Committee, and chair of the Litigation Committee of the Technology Section of the State Bar of Georgia. He has frequently published and presented extensively on topics including e-discovery, data security, cybersecurity and the role of neutrals in technology disputes.
“My hands-on experience with the substance of legal disputes enables me to ask the challenging questions necessary to conduct a meaningful mediation or arbitration and help the parties reach resolution,” said Mr. Kunin. “I look forward to applying my skill set to serve as a neutral voice to guide businesses, professionals and individuals through complex challenges.”
Mr. Kunin earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law. He also holds an MBA from the University of Miami and a B.S. from the University of South Florida.
