ILERA's general purpose is to promote the study of labor and employment relations throughout the world in the relevant academic disciplines. The Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) is a federal agency that works to build better, more effective workplace relationships and mitigate the damage from inevitable conflict through preventive dialogue, honest communication, and responsive strategies.
