The stand-alone publication draws from the 2021 Edition of The Best Lawyers in America and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch to highlight more than 5,000 legal professionals in Texas. The annual list is compiled by conducting exhaustive peer-review surveys in which top lawyers across the country evaluate and vote on their peers.

Texas, as defined by Best Lawyers, is composed of nine metro areas: Austin, Beaumont, Corpus Christi, Dallas/Fort Worth, El Paso, Great Plains, Houston, San Antonio and Tyler.
