Former Netflix Litigation Head Talks Next Chapter As Neutral
When Linda Burrow, Netflix's global head of litigation, stepped away from the streaming giant in July, she wanted time off to ponder her next career move.
She ultimately decided that the next stop on her career path that would best fit her skills and background was to become a neutral.
"I've litigated a lot of cases on both sides of the V," Burrow told Law360 Pulse. "At Netflix, my job was to fairly assess risk and to communicate that assessment and to understand all of the implications of moving forward with litigation. Those skills, I think, will translate nicely to acting as a neutral."
On March 4, alternative dispute resolution service JAMS announced Burrow is joining its Century City, California, office. With plenty of work experience in the entertainment industry, Burrow's services as a neutral will likely be in high demand.
